Faredoon began his journey as a learning and development professional with a subsidiary of NIIT, India's largest training services provider. Over a five year period, he trained more than 6000 hours for over 3000 participants across career levels from entry-level staff to senior managers in India and overseas. He was consistently the highest scored facilitator in participant feedback surveys in a pan-India team of 90 trainers. His scope of delivery ranged from communication skills to behavioral concepts.

 

Faredoon subsequently moved into a managerial role in organizational effectiveness with Hutchison 3 Global Services where he continued to facilitate a range of behavioral programs with a key emphasis on leadership development and coaching managers.

Dance, Performances & Choreography

 

Faredoon is a well-known dancer, performer and choreographer. He has taught a range of dance forms like Classical Ballet, Theatrical and Broadway Jazz Contemporary and modern dance as well as Dancersize at Sophia College, Nirmala Niketan College of Home Science, Girton High School / BJPC High School and Holiday Inn Health Club.

 

He has performed in numerous musicals and shows including:

• Evita – a musical, directed by Alyque Padamsee

• The Wiz & Godspell, a musical directed by Pearl Padamsee

• Toured South America with Astad Deboo for Thanatomorphia

• Festival of France in India – The Encounter with Gigi Caciuleanu for Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi and French President Mitterand

• Timeless Art – Times of India’s Sotheby’s Auction

• Giselle – with Sadler Wells Ballet from London

Faredoon won the the Award for Excellence in Choreography, IAAFA 96 for Phoenix Shoes. He has choregraphed for several films including Maya Memsaa directed by Ketan Mehta and Bollywood directed by Shashi Tharoor and Blondie Singh. He has choreographed a number of musicals including Play it Again Norman – a Hosi Vasunia Production; Ascent of Man – for Louis Banks and Sophia College; Jungle Book in Delhi; Kiss of the Spider Woman – with Arjun Sajnani in Banglore; and Bottoms Up – Bharat Dhabolkar.
